Canarywood (H) (centrolobium ochroxylon) aka. Arariba Amarillo. Tropical South America, Brazil. The heartwood varies from yellow through orange to red with black to purple streaks throughout. Grain varies from straight to irregular. The wood is heavy with a medium texture. Great inlay wood and used for cabinetry. Takes a beautiful polish. Specific gravity .85
